Visit a medieval hunting lodge, tour a brewery, then enjoy unrivalled medieval entertainment with a hearty meal prepared over an open fire, and unlimited beer and wine.
After picking you up from your Prague accommodation, we drive for around 75 minutes to a traditional Czech village.
We begin with a short tour of a medieval manor house, where we learn how ancient noblemen would pass their time hunting, fighting and entertaining.
Next, we visit an exhibition on medieval beer brewing, followed by a tour of the modern micro-brewery facilities.
Having worked up a thirst, we enter a huge, wonderfully restored medieval barn for some fine medieval hospitality and entertainment. The barn seats up to 300 people and is no tourist trap; many of the guests are Czech.
The entertainment is “living history” style and very little English is spoken. In true medieval fashion, entertainers are not polite. Guests are told to sit down, shut up and ale is thrust before them; served by scrumptious maidens and hardy innkeepers. Ladies beware: you could be denounced a witch and have the thumb screws placed on you!
A traditional three course menu of cheese, half a chicken and Czech honey cakes is included. A vegetarian option is also available (indicate on the booking form if required).
As the food is served a loud drum beats. Medieval musicians and exotic dancers enter the room, followed by fire-eaters, street beggars, fighting knights and much more.
The Medieval Experience is one big performance, expertly presented and suitable for men and women of all ages and nationalities.
Prague Experience sightseeing tours are in English and another language. They are led by professional, licensed tourist guides and use modern, air-conditioned mini-coaches.
If you require a tour in French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish, please specify on the booking form.
The tour finishes back in Prague, where we drop you off at your accommodation.

For groups of 10+ people in winter and 15+ in summer, we can arrange at no extra cost:
-a private tour, including a guide & coach exclusive to your group.
